The 1988-89 DT125R is a tall-wheeled trail/enduro 125 with a reed-valve two-stroke, 6-speed gearbox and disc brakes at both ends. It followed a 1987 restyle that added a rear disc in place of the earlier drum brake. A light learner-class bike with a claimed 14 hp.
